I'm going to start writing very short snippets, almost like a diary perhaps, written completely by a human (me) to record the thoughts and collections that I have.
This is a practice that has been recommended after reading many of the Paul Graham essays1, and funny enough, I may be a select few people to have found out about Paul Graham after being accepted into YCombinator2.
Now, truthfully, I recognize that I have really done nothing notable in my life yet, and so these "hot takes" are mainly to help collect my own thoughts, something I have way too many of recently and getting messier and messier.
Here is an idea I had today: I currently have way too many Claude Max usage tokens, and I would like a way to use them. I don't know what to make, and I'm unwilling to commit time to making something I know no one will probably see or know. What if there was a forum where people could put what they want online, and people like me can just make the app. At first, this sounds like a good idea, but there must be something fundamentally difficult in coming up with what you want or the ideas being posted are not true problems people have. Because if they were, and gone the effort to document it, they would have just made it, right?
Need to explore that idea more...
